Buy Heckler & Koch HK45 V1 Semi-Auto Pistol online. In 2007, Heckler & Koch introduced the HK45 polymer pistol and the HK45 C concealed carry handgun. Over the next few years, the Heckler & Koch HK45 captured the hearts and minds of civilians in North America as a popular.45-caliber polymer model. We put the big caliber service pistol to the test.

Americans particularly value the dependability and quality of Oberndorf goods. For a long time, the sole point of dispute was the relatively high asking price for a new handgun. At almost double the price of an identical polymer model from GLOCK or Smith & Wesson, the Heckler & Koch HK45 cost over $1,000.00 USD.
The Heckler & Koch HK45 is a somewhat enhanced version of the Heckler & Koch USP generation in terms of engineering. However, the Heckler & Koch HK45 earns credit for its better ergonomics. Oberndorf engineers initially developed the HK45 for the US military. It utilizes an upgraded Browning mechanism to secure the ejection port.
Recoil is compensated for using an enclosed action spring unit with buffer. The polymer frame is ambidextrous. The slide stop and magazine catches, for example, are located on opposite sides of the rifle.
However, the integrated safety and decocking levers are located only on the left. The V3 trigger model does not have a manual safety. Its lever is only for the purpose of decocking the weapon. The HK45 is available in black, RAL8000 (green-brown), and olive frame colors.

Technical specifications for the Heckler & Koch HK45 pistol

On the HK45, there is a safety catch.

The HK45 pistol’s controls are set cleanly and readily – however the safety catch is only on the left.
The Heckler & Koch HK45 earns a perfect score (–0 points) for trigger/frame design. While it lacks the removable grip plates seen on the SFP9 and P30, the frame’s ergonomic design ticks all the necessary boxes.
In comparison to the earlier USP frame, the HK45 has three finger grooves on the front, ergonomically shaped flanks, and a changeable backstrap. Its diameter is also less than that of the first generation polymer 45-caliber variants, owing mostly to the magazine’s shorter width of less than 23 millimeters.
The trigger is rather hit or miss (-2 points). In double action mode, the excessively lengthy trigger path is visible. The trigger pull is 1,950 grams pretensioned — a reasonable weight for a polymer handgun – but the let-off is not crisp.

The HK45 pistol’s muzzle

The HK45’s hefty 45-caliber barrel is directed via a second polymer ring located behind the muzzle.
Nothing notable occurred in the review area Cycling/Safety, and hence no deductions (–0 points) were made. Three vivid yellow dots distinguish the sights. This rather simple sighting system is sufficient for a service handgun. Only the rear sight is lateral offset adjustable. The notch is quite wide (–1 point).
The weapon’s majority of controls are mounted on both sides. However, the safety/decocking lever is accessible only from the left (–1 point). The slide stop lever and magazine release catch are both easily operated with one finger, demonstrating the excellent ergonomics.
However, stripping the weapon is more tedious than with prior USP variants. The weapon’s finish is flawless (–0 points). Our HK45 pistols earned an accuracy score of 48 (–2 points).
